Study on Calamansi, Cacao rinds gets 715k grant from DOST

The study is expected to optimize cacao-calamansi mixtures for the production of active packaging films, and to develop active food packaging films from cacao and calamansi loaded with encapsulated lemon grass oil and calamansi oil within the course of one (1) year.

ZCHRD, PHREB conduct 2-day GRP Training

The Zamboanga Consortium for Health Research and Development (ZCHRD) in partnership with the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board (PHREB) conducted a 2-day Training on Good Research Practice for potential or members of Research Ethics Committee (REC) with resource speakers, Dr. Ricardo Manalastas, and Dr. Rhodora Estacio.

The 2-day activity intends to enhance awareness of the importance of ethics in research and to improve capacity for participation in the research ethics review system.
