DOST IX- FASTS holds review of 2020 accomplishments, 2021 Targets and Deliverables

Department of Science & Technology IX, Finance & Administrative Support & Technical Service (FASTS) convened for a review of 2020 Accomplishments and 2021 Targets and Deliverables today, February 23, 2021 at Grand Astoria Hotel. Opening Remarks was given by no less than DOST-IX Regional Director Martin A. Wee, followed by Assistant Regional Director for FASTS (ARD-FASTS) Rosemarie S. Salazar, who gave the Rationale of the event. Social/physical distancing and the existing protocols relative to CoViD-19 were strictly followed. #DOST9 #ScienceForThePeople

All functional units presented their respective 2021 targets, which included suggested initiatives and strategies perceived to increase the probability of attaining this year’s deliverables. Functional units under FASTS are as follows: Scholarship; Science &Technology Information Cente (STIC); Zamboanga Consortium for Health, Research and Development (ZCHRD); Regional Research Development and Innovation Committee (RRDICOM), Information Communication Technology (ICT) ; Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM); Human Resource Management (HR); Procurement and Supply Management; and Cashiering, Budgeting, and Accounting Unit.

DOST-IX joins the nation in celebrating the 2021 National Women’s Month

The 2021 National Women’s Month Celebration serves as a tribute, a platform, and a call to action that highlights the extraordinary roles of ordinary Juanas in society as trailblazers and harbingers of change. This celebration is also a venue to discuss and address the issues that women continue to face so empowerment can be fully achieved. The campaign is also a call for concrete, sustainable, and inclusive actions towards gender equality.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: PhD in Molecular Biomedicine

The DOST-PCHRD, University of Trieste (UNITS), and Fondazione Italiana Fegato (FIF) are accepting applications for the PhD in Molecular Biomedicine program.
