We are deeply saddened by the demise of Dr. Myrna P. Angeles. Our thoughts and prayers goes to the bereaved family and love ones. Dr. Angeles had been an active member of Research Ethics Review Committee of the consortium.

This award recognizes outstanding medical researchers who have devoted their professional careers in the service of the country on public health. The Awarding Ceremony will be on 09 September 2022 at the Manila Hotel.

Panaguiton, Chair of ZCHRD’s Research Utilization Committee and Ms. Maisie Faith Dagapioso, Member of ZCHRD’s Research Ethics Review Committee.
DOST-PCHRD & ZCHRD INSTITUTIONAL VISIT AND GRANT ORIENTATION MEETING AT WMSU
The DOST-PCHRD Awards and Incentives Program Team, Ms. Ian Hannah Gozun and Renalyn Baculina together with DOST IX-ZCHRD secretariat, Ms. Marielle R. Atilano and Mr. Ismael Ghazali conducted an institutional visit, grant orientation meeting and signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at Western Mindanao State University for the thesis proposal of, Mr. Binladen M. Daiman, Mr. Al-Ahmad B. Jaiyari and Mr. Prinzer Rhadeen A. Kibong entitled “Antioxidant , Phytochemical and Cytotoxic Screening of Cocoa Pod Husk (CPH) Extracts used as Herbal Tea,” which was qualified for the 2022 DOST-PCHRD Undergraduate Thesis Grant in Natural Products.
Present in the Orientation and MOA Signing are the grantees and their thesis adviser, Dr. Genelyn G. Madjos together with the Acting Dean of College of Science and Mathematics, Dr. Mohammad Nur Paspasan.
ZAMPEN UNDERGRAD RESEARCHER AWARDED FOR 50K DOST FUNDING
One research entry endorsed by the Zamboanga Consortium for Health Research and Development (ZCHRD) and Department of Science and Technology (DOST) IX qualified for the DOST-Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) Undegraduate Thesis Grant in Natural Products.
