The Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) announces the availability of the PhilFrance DOST Fellowship Program for Academic Year 2022-2023. The program aims to foster the mobility to France of Filipino professionals working in academic, research, or government institutions; selected jointly on the basis of academic excellence to pursue a Master's or Doctorate degree in French public higher education institutions under the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research of the French Republic.

DESCRIPTION
Scholarship provider: DOST-SEI & French Embassy
Language of instruction: English, French, or both
Level of study: Master's and Doctorate degrees (full-time)
Duration: 2 year Master's programs and 3 year for PhD programs
Location: at a French public higher education institution in France
ELIGIBILITY
All applicants must meet the requirements as below:
- Candidate must be a Filipino citizen;
- Must not be more than 45 years old at the time of application;
- Must be in good health condition;
- Hold a higher education diploma recognized by the Philippine government allowing enrolment in the host course in the French Republic
- Have an excellent academic level;
- Have the knowledge or expertise required to carry out higher studies within the host establishment in the French Republic;
- Pass the admission requirements for graduate studies in any of the public universities in France;
- Pass the interview and other screening procedures
AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP
The scholar shall receive the following financial assistance while on scholarship until completion of their degrees:
From the DOST-SEI
- Monthly living allowance (rate will depend on the place of study);
- One round-trip economy fare from residence to place of study (one-time only in the whole duration of the study);
- Relocation allowance; and
- Pre-travel expenses.
From the French Embassy
- University registration fees;
- Healthcare package throughout the stay in the French Republic;
- Visa fees; and
- Priority access to student housing facilities.

3. All applicants will receive an automated email confirmation when they submit their online application. However, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the scholarship committee regarding the results of their application.
