CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Wenzel E. Perian of Western Mindanao State University for winning 2nd place in the Oral Research Paper Competition for the Grantees of the DOST-PCHRD Undergraduate Thesis Grant in Natural Products during the 15th Philippine National Health Research System Week Celebration held on 09 August 2022.
Wenzel E. Perian, a BS Biology graduate of Western Mindanao State University, led the Crimsons to another triumph last August 2022. Perian bagged the second place award in the oral research paper competition held as part of the Philippine National Health Research System Week for recipients of the DOST-PCHRD Undergraduate Thesis Grant in Natural Product. "Antitumor and Antiangiogenic Activities of Crude Methanolic Seaweed Extract of Solieria robusta (Greville) Kylin, 1932" was the title of Perian's study, guided by Dr. Melbert Sepe of the WMSU Department of Biological Sciences as his mentor.
