DOST IX-ZCHRD successfully conducted the “Qualitative Research Training” with the 3 high caliber resource speakers; Dr. Servando D. Halili, Jr., Chair of ZCHRD’s Capacity Building Committee; Dr. Robert V. Panaguiton, Chair of ZCHRD’s Research Utilization Committee and Ms. Maisie Faith Dagapioso, Member of ZCHRD’s Research Ethics Review Committee.
It was participated by member institutions from Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC), Mindanao Central Sanitarium, Brent Hospital and Colleges Incorporated (BHCI) , Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU), Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU), Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) and Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU).
This training/ workshop is an advanced workshop qualitative research methods.
It aims to hone the capabilities of researchers in qualitative research in the light of procedures practiced by the DOST-PCHRD. The workshop will present modules in qualitative research designed for those who are interested to pursue research using non-numerical data. At the end of the workshop, the participants would have drafted and presented a capsule proposal on a research topic using qualitative data.
