DOST IX-ZCHRD successfully conducted the 2nd “BASIC RESEARCH ETHICS TRAINING” which aims to help participants identify and apply General Research Ethics Principles, recognize and apply essential characteristics of ethical research: For the Good of Human Being, Scientifically Sound and Ethically Sound.
It was participated by member institutions across the region which includes: Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU), Brent Hospital and Colleges Inc. (BHCI), Dipolog Medical College Foundation Inc., Universidad de Zamboanga, Basilan State College, Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), J.H. Ceriles State College, Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU), Ciudad Medical Zamboanga, Mindanao Central Sanitarium, Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC), and Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST).
This training is also part of consortium’s efforts on helping it’s member institutions to establish their own ethics review committee.
